Atmos website analysis & reports

Atmos (used in conjunction with Breeze‑bot) is a comprehensive reporting and diagnostics package for analysing the structure and contents of a website.

Unlike other SEO packages that crawl and access a websites structure and contents with search engines in mind, the primary goal of Atmos is to help provide information about a websites accessibility to visitors and the quality of it's contents.

Atmos's reports and recommendations are intended to help improve the experience of visitors to a website, not manipulate search engine rankings.

So why analyze a website?

Well, there are lots of reasons. Breeze‑bot & Atmos started life as in‑house development tools that we used internally to ensure the quality of our clients websites before launching them. This is something we continue to do for our clients.

The reports (though not quite so pretty in those days) highlighted issues such as broken links, W3C invalid pages, slow loading and large pages, inaccessible pages, incorrect robots.txt definitions, and more.

All of these potential issues adversely effect a visitors experience to some degree, from being a simple annoyance to preventing visitors from using the website as intended. By having a single, or for larger and frequently changing websites a quarterly or monthly report, these issues can be identified and resolved, hepling to ensure the optimal visitor experience.

In simple terms, a better visitor experience can mean more visitors, who visit more often, and spend more time (and where applicable money) at your website.

What's in a report?

Lots! And it's growing (see the change log for a list of recent additions). Currently the average website report is 30-40 pages long, and contains 10-15 individual detailed reports, including an executive summary that highlights the most pressing issues.

Each report varies depending on the client's requirements and the number of issues identified with a website. Additional services such as competitor analysis, and cross comparison with other reporting packages such as Google analytics can also be included.

A personal service

Though much of the data collation and report generation is automated, the real value of a report is in the detailed recommendation compiled by our experienced and highly qualified web developers.

Before we produce an inital report we'll discuss your needs and expectations. This way we can prioritise the reports we produce and tailor our recommendations to best help you. Once you have the report, we can work with you, or your web agency to resolve any issues that have been highlighted.
